Hosteria Las Amapolas

Where do I begin? This eclectic place, carefully run by helpful Maximillian and his partner, is over 100 years old. The rooms need renovating or brightening up, but that is part of the charm. Old memories linger in every corner. Walking in from the blustery wind off the lake in the evening, we were enveloped in the fragrant aromas of the following mornings pastries. The price is reasonable and the location good. We booked a lake view room and enjoyed opening the shutters and gazing over the beautiful lake below.

The staff is very kind and helpful and the breakfast is very decent.

There wasn't much to like. I guess it was one of the most inexpensive places in Bariloche. But it was not a Lakeview room...There were problems with the bathroom water going all over the place...The senior staff member did manage to fix it for the evening. There was mold on the wall.Breakfast was ok.
